Is your organization a victim of its own hiring process?
Have you ever made a hiring decision that did not lead to the outcome you desired?
With extensive work in Leadership Development — I have learned that many hiring processes leave out a very important aspect. The aspect of strategic alignment of the person to the role.
People never just enter your environment as a blank slate. We look for their skills, we view their resume and experience, but few measure their personality behavior inclination against the team you have worked hard to create.
Anyone can be impressive during the interview cycle. Only when we truly know who is on the other side of the interview can we determine how the person will interact with our team and our customers. This can be revealed through a simple 20 minute assessment and analysis of observable behaviors.
After many years and hundreds of individual personality samples; I have developed a process where organizations can lead by understanding the needs, ambitions and behaviors of their team and how to organize by utilizing each persons unique gifting.
We believe there is no hierarchy to personality—everyone we meet, know and love are gifted in a unique way. Work environments if designed around the team can lead to a more effective and aligned organization. All people want career fulfillment. Successful organizations create an environment where people, aligned around a vision, are encouraged to use their gifting for the betterment of themselves and the organization.
Understanding the value an individual can bring to the organization should occur on the front end of the hiring process. Not after years of trial and error in different roles only to find the person was not aligned with the team or the organizational culture.
My process will shorten the time taxing, expensive learning curve of turnover. Hire strategically, align the person to the team personality, compensate and grow the organization.
Never disappoint a premium paying customer with a substandard product, service or representative of your company.
